Adecco/Office Angels

Business Need: Office Angels has more than 80 branches across the UK and employs nearly 600 people. The firm supplies temporary and permanent staff to tens of thousands of companies. At any given time, Office Angels retains 9,000 temps who work at client locations. Therefore it is essential to turnaround weekly payroll and client invoicing in a timely fashion.

PacSol Solution: Working with the customer, PacSol identified, developed and implemented a solution to scan and process all timesheets. These timesheets are then indexed automatically and linked to the corresponding sales invoices that are generated from the timesheet data. These are then printed together on double-sided paper with the invoice on one side and the timesheet on the other.

Benefits: Working with the customer, PacSol identified the importance of prompt, accurate time sheet processing. If this process was delayed it impacted invoicing and in turn payment of invoices. It was also important that staff could locate copies of documentation for billing enquiries, which again, helped to speed up the payment process. Also the matching of timesheets and invoices was extremely labour intensive and is now wholly automatic. This solution has greatly accelerated the Accounts Receivable process and requires less staff; satisfaction has been enhanced as signed timesheets are now mailed with invoices which in turn reduces billing disputes and saves considerably on production costs.
