What’s new in DocuWare version 7.13

The upcoming release brings the new web-based Workflow Designer out of the beta phase and makes it an official part of DocuWare Cloud. There is also exciting news on the topic of e-invoices. 

Highlight: Workflow Designer 

• The desktop app is no longer needed: Configure workflows directly in the browser — more efficiently and intuitively than ever before. 
• Modern & intuitive: New user interface, keyboard shortcuts and updated, clear terminology simplify workflow configuration. 
• Work faster: Duplicate or delete multiple actions with a single click. 
• Auto-save: All changes will be saved immediately, so there’s no risk of losing your work. 
• Undo & restore: Undo changes or make them again — mistakes can be corrected quickly without starting over. 
• Targeted export: Selectively export individual workflows 

When the new DocuWare version is released, it will be possible for existing cloud systems to migrate existing workflows designed in the Workflow Designer desktop app. 

Other important news 

• E-invoices: Now even e-invoice formats that are not UBL-based, such as FatturaPA (Italy) or KseF (Poland), can be automatically identified and further processed using specific configurations. This is extremely helpful when all invoices are sent to a single, universal inbox. 
• DocuWare Forms: Forms can now be pre-filled using URL parameters, which allows them to be completed more quickly and with fewer errors — perfect for repeating or automated processes. Users can also use the function to save a form that they have partially filled out, so that they can finish it later or send it to a colleague for completion. 
• Security: With two-factor verifications, you can easily improve security standards for user logins.
