IBM i is designed to be a reliable, secure, and scalable platform for running business-critical applications. It is known for its high availability, ease of use, and low total cost of ownership.
ImageView utilises IBM i's fully integrated operating system that includes a relational database, middleware, and application development tools to provide a robust, function rich yet easy to use document management platform.
In 2023 PacSol made the decision to become a vendor member of the i-UG community. The user group provides a forum to voice ideas, feedback and customer focused needs directly back to IBM themselves via a respected channel, further improving the platform’s ability to deliver for the customer by directly influencing its development.
By supporting this community of IBM i vendors, partners and users, PacSol are looking to the future of the modern IBM platform and how best to bring the latest technological developments to the IBM user community and their clients. The user group also provides a forum to voice ideas, feedback and customer focused needs directly back to IBM themselves via a respected channel, further improving the platform’s ability to deliver for the customer by directly influencing its development.
On March 14th, the i-UG Conference South takes place in London, at IBM’s own York Road offices. Both PacSol’s Managing Director Mark Wheadon and Director Ranjit Patel will be attending to get involved. The conference provides an opportunity for IBM users and vendors to mix, exchange experience with the IBM platform and attend sessions covering topics such as:
- IBM announcements
- Data security
- 24 x 7 Operations
- Infrastructure considerations
- Pervasive technologies
- Compliance management
- Information management tools
We know that a few of our IBM (ImageView / ViewPoint) customers are already members (and therefore qualify for a couple of free spaces) so why not take the opportunity to not only find out more about what is next for the IBM platform but also catch up directly with PacSol’s directors about our own developments that could benefit your organisation?
